About the Company

Zilenzio is a successful Swedish and female owned private company with a passion for improving the work environment. We develop and deliver high-quality sound absorption through well-thought-out and designed solutions. Our products are the result of our long experience in sound environment design, analyzes of office environments and testing in accordance with international standards. We have made many workplaces into first-rate acoustic environments, and our employees have extensive knowledge of sound absorption and the acoustic properties of various materials. We currently have 20 employees and are headquartered in Örebro in Sweden. At Zilenzio, the comfort and wellbeing of our staff are seen as a basic prerequisite for achieving our goals.

Zilenzio’s products consist of sound absorbers for the office and public environment. Our products are manufactured in Sweden, Poland and Lithuania.  We currently have staff representatives in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Finland and the USA. We also have dealers or agents in another 20 countries.

Since 2020, Zilenzio has a US subsidiary, and since the end of 2020 an exclusive agreement with Allsteel in the US, of which we are very proud. Since October 2021, we can proudly say that our on-site staff in the USA have visited all our priority resellers and A&D companies around the country. Currently, all our products are made in Europe, but we are now looking at starting up production closer to the American market. The response from customers, architects, resellers and Allsteel has been absolutely wonderful, and that is why we now seek to hire a key person to continue our efforts to build the Swedish Zilenzio brand together with our US Team Jason, Jonas and Marie.

District and Location

The location is preferably at the east coast but we are searching for the right person and it is important that you can travel from your place of residence easily. You are based at your home or from one of Allsteel’s retailers, but in the first few years you will spend most of your time at customer locations.

Work duties

This is a unique chance to be part of building a Swedish company in the North American market, offering something that both end customers, architects and retailers appreciate. We are looking for a driven team player who enjoys traveling and teaching all stakeholders, your focus will be visiting dealers, architects, and end users.  You will also train the Allsteel key staff to secure their knowledge about acoustics and about the Zilenzio way of working. You will present Zilenzio’s range and conduct product and acoustic training. You will conduct customer events together with resellers and serve our customers as an expert on acoustic solutions. You need to be involved in project and follow up on existing quotes. We will ensure that you receive all the necessary training and have full support from your colleagues in customer support, which means that you can focus 100% on working proactively with sales towards all our customers.

You are unpretentious and are willing to help wherever needed. To fit into the organization, you should be a social person who enjoys relationship-building and communicating naturally with other employees and external customers. You appreciate order and neatness, and planning, preparation and follow-up comes naturally to you.

You are a driver in the way you work and used to working independently towards set goals and to implement and deliver results. You are passionate about customer meetings, are a champions of relationships and see only opportunities and no problems.

Education and experience

  • High school education is required. Relevant academic degree is a plus
  • You have experience in the B2B industry and an up-to-date network of contacts within at the architect and dealer level.
  • For you, it’s natural to take the lead in meetings.
  • You are business oriented and a good listener.
  • You have great computer skills.
  • You are a good presenter and have experience presenting in different environments.
  • You are active in social media.
  • You are analytical and a good planner.
  • You are a team player and good at imparting knowledge and listening to others’ input.

The position is permanent with an initial probationary period, starting according to agreement.
