The planning of the school is based on a high degree of flexibility, with a clear vision and preparation to meet the demands of new pedagogical approaches.

The school is intended to be experienced as a meeting place for joyful learning—a multifunctional environment offering opportunities for experiences and activities.

The design strikes a balance between refining and developing traditional teaching methods and creating possibilities for a more flexible approach to new learning methods and ways of thinking.

The architecture aims to provide a calm and secure environment for students, while also inspiring curiosity and joyful exploration.

Teaching spaces are grouped into base units that meet the needs of both the school and after-school programs. These rooms are used throughout the day but are programmed with different expressions to offer students space for both concentration and relaxation.

The units are set back from main circulation routes to create secure and acoustically separated zones. The structure of the rooms within a base unit or teaching team area also allows for adjustments in group sizes—supporting large gatherings, small groups, and individual work alike.
