At NPM Capital’s Munich office, less echo has made everyday conversations feel more relaxed. Across offices and breakout areas, Dezibel Art combines sound absorption with art from Paper Collective, bringing acoustic comfort and personal expression into the spaces people use throughout the day.

“Acoustically effective, and a treat for the eyes.”

Together with Hauser Office Design, we helped the investment company NPM Capital find a solution that feels at home in their workplace, both in how it sounds and how it looks.

A calmer and more inspiring office

Choosing art for a shared workplace is personal. It needs to suit the rooms while also feeling right to the people who spend their days there. For NPM Capital, the variety of artwork made that choice easy.

“We found working with Zilenzio and their partner Hauser to be very straightforward and smooth throughout the entire process. Thanks to the wide selection of artwork, we quickly found designs that suited both our spaces and our personal taste,” says Claudia Djukic-Müller, Executive Assistant at NPM Capital.

Made in collaboration with Paper Collective, Dezibel Art brings contemporary art and sound absorption together in a single wall panel. Behind the artwork, a stone wool filling absorbs sound efficiently, while a solid wood frame completes the piece. It’s a way to introduce acoustic comfort through something people also enjoy looking at.

More ease in everyday conversations

For the team at NPM Capital, the difference is particularly noticeable during digital meetings. Reduced reverberation has made it easier to focus and feel at ease in conversation.

“The acoustic improvement is clearly noticeable: Echo in our offices has been significantly reduced, which has had a very positive impact on our daily work. Especially during Teams calls, we can communicate with greater focus and ease. At the same time, the artworks are a beautiful design element and a wonderful addition to our office spaces,” says Claudia.

Her experience captures what the combination of acoustics and art can bring to a workplace: conversations that feel more comfortable, alongside art that gives the rooms a personal touch. Both contribute to how it feels to spend time there.

As Claudia puts it:

“Acoustically effective, and a treat for the eyes.”
